Engage Media Creates Substance Abuse Multimedia Play

We have just finished a multi media play in Stockton on Tees working along side young people based in the region.

The film "It's Your Life Don't Blow It" was directed by the young people themselves and touched upon their experiences of substance abuse. The films were produced through nine workshops and is a subjective view on substance abuse highlighting areas of misuse not usually discussed such as the consequences and how it affects your dreams and aspirations.

The film is an honest and unflinching portrayal of lives affected by substance misuse and a way of developing debate around the issue.

Four participants acted and performed in the play and the whole group participated in a question and answer session. The session allowed all involved to pass on their thoughts about their own experiences and speak freely.

The whole group was excellent, thanks very much for all your hard work and great performances!
